Small fur babies are usually pampered and a part of their family's life and generally do not do well in the dog cages used in many boarding, grooming, and vet facilities.
Often you can find our small dogs having the whole grooming room, out in the hall with us while we are working, or even chilling out on our laps
We will not put small dogs in a kennel with out a bed and/or blankets like this. We also do not put small dogs in the main building with the exception of ones with a big sibling they want to stay with. This picture on the internet was taken before we purchased the kennel.
These cages are very common for small dogs at boarding facilities, vets, and groomers. In fact, the one pictured was 1 of 2 remaining ones that were used at this facility at one point. Most of them are sized for 1 dog leaving them feeling isolated and often not much room to move.
